Portage RCMP make arrests on child pornography, exploitation charges

The Manitoba RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit has arrested a couple on numerous child pornography and exploitation charges

On October 18, 2018, Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report that on multiple occasions, a 16-year-old male had been sexually exploited.

The RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit was engaged in the investigation, and a search warrant was executed on the residence of a husband and wife in Lavenham, Manitoba on November 5, 2018.

Lavenham is located south of McGregor.

Portage and Treherne RCMP, as well as the ICE Unit and the RCMP Technical Crime Unit, were involved in the search. Digital devices were seized.

Donna Woodward, 58, was arrested and charged with:
Make Child Pornography
Possess Child Pornography
Possess Child Pornography for the Purpose of Publication
Sexual Exploitation by Touch
Sexual Exploitation by Invitation to Touch
Sexual Assault
Bestiality

Charles Woodward, 60, was arrested and charged with:
Make Child Pornography
Possess Child Pornography
Possess Child Pornography for the Purpose of Publication
Sexual Assault
Bestiality

Both suspects are remanded in custody.

The investigation is ongoing, and the RCMP is concerned that there could be more victims.
