On Friday November 16, 2018 shortly after 6:00 AM Swift Current RCMP were responding to a call from a passerby about a partially submerged vehicle in the creek along 6th Avenue NE.

It appears that a red 2014 Dodge truck was south bound on 6th Ave NE when it left the roadway, crashed through the east guard rail, and came to rest in the water. The passenger portion of the truck is still currently under water.

On arrival the RCMP could not locate the driver of the vehicle, but have spoken to the registered owner who confirms they were not driving the vehicle at the time it left the roadway.

The RCMP is currently searching for 26 year old Colton KOOP of Swift Current, who may have been in possession of the truck.

The RCMP is trying to confirm his well being and determine how the vehicle came to rest in the body of water.

Anyone with information of KOOP's whereabouts, or with information about this collision, is asked to contact the Swift Current Municipal RCMP at (306)778-4870 or their local police service.
