Teulon RCMP investigate homicide

On November 17, 2018, at approximately 11:40 pm, Teulon RCMP responded to a call of a female having been shot while seated in a vehicle on Provincial Road 231 in the RM of Gimli.

Officers attended to the hospital and determined that a 20-year-old female, from the RM of Armstrong, suffered life-threatening injuries consistent with having been shot. She later succumbed to her injuries.

A 23-year-old male suspect has been arrested and is currently in RCMP custody. Police are not searching for any other suspects and do not believe this incident to be gang or domestic related.

Teulon RCMP along with the RCMP Major Crime Unit continue to investigate.
