Home invasion in Dauphin

On March 2, 2019, at approximately 2:30 pm, RCMP responded to a home invasion on 2nd Avenue in Dauphin.
A 55-year-old female victim was unlocking the door to her apartment when someone came up behind her and pushed her into her residence.
The female intruder grabbed a knife from the counter and cut the phone line.
She forced the victim into a bathroom, searched the apartment, and fled after taking several items.
At around 8 pm that evening, the investigation led officers to a residence in the community, and they arrested a 29-year-old female from Dauphin.
Charges of Robbery, Forcible Confinement and Break and Enter are pending.
Dauphin RCMP along with the Forensic Identification Unit continue to investigate.
