Scott Moe has come out on top in a new survey ranking Canada’s most popular premiers.
The poll, conducted by DART Insight and Communications, put Moe’s approval rating at 59 per cent. Quebec’s Fancois Legault came in second at 56 per cent, and British Columbia’s John Horgan was third at 51 per cent.
Moe’s approval rating rose three per cent since a popularity poll was released by Angus Reid in December of last year, when he finished second with 57 per cent. Dart said this was Moe’s highest approval rating since becoming premier in February of 2018.
Dart surveyed 5,450 randomly selected Canadian adults who are part of survey sample research provider Maru/Blue. Dart said Prince Edward Island, Nunavut, and the Yukon and Northwest Territories were not included due to extremely small sample sizes.
