Call Covid-19 testing site directly to book an appointment
January 26, 2021, 1:15 pm
The Saskatchewan Health Authority says residents of Moosomin and area can call the Covid-19 testing site directly (306-435-4505) to book an appointment for a test. They do not require a referral from Healthline 811, but are required to make an appointment.
Having previously told residents in Saskatchewan to call Healthline 811 for a referral to a Covid-19 testing centre, there has been some confusion on the protocol when needing a test.
The Moosomin testing site is open for appointments only, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., a health card is required.
Residents of the Moosomin area are encouraged to call the testing site to book an appointment if they are experiencing unexplained or worsening symptoms (even mild symptoms) that may include one or more of the following:
Fever
Cough
Headache
Muscle and/or joint aches and pains
Sore throat
Chills
Runny nose
Nasal congestion
Conjunctivitis
Dizziness
Fatigue
Nausea/vomiting
Diarrhea
Loss of aptitude (difficulty feeding for children)
Loss of sense of taste or smell
Shortness of breath
Difficulty breathing
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms it is recommended to continue self-monitoring and self-isolating until receiving test results.
