Police searching Moose Jaw dump for Landry murder evidence

On July 24th, Investigators from the RCMP major Crimes Unit South located a body southwest of the town of Gravelbourg in a open area.

The body was that of an adult male and the remains were transported to Regina for a Forensic Autopsy on July 25.

The body is now confirmed to be 42 year old Claude Landry.

Mr Landry’s family was notified of the discovery.

Today the RCMP Major Crimes Unit south with assistance from the RCMP Forensic identification section will be searching the dump for the city of Moose Jaw in search of more evidence in regards to the alleged murder of Claude Landry.

The search will likely be conducted most of the day.

On July 21, 2018, RCMP arrested 74 year-old Robert Arams of Gravelbourg, SK, in relation to the disappearance of Claude Landry who was reported missing on July 13, 2018. Arams has been charged with:

· First Degree Murder, Sec. 235(1), Criminal Code
· Indignity to a Body, Sec. 182(b), Criminal Code

On July 23, 2018, RCMP arrested a second individual in relation to the disappearance of Claude Landry. 42 year-old David Earl Prentice of Lafleche, SK, has been charged with:

· Indignity to a Body, Sec. 182(b), Criminal Code
