With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Felix was born on November 10, 1934 in Montmartre, Sask. and passed away peacefully October 13, 2018 in High River Hospital, in High River, Alta.

During his life Felix enjoyed singing, dancing, hanging out with his family, baking, cooking, fishing and hunting, being very accomplished in all.

Felix grew up working hard on his family’s farm as number five of ten children. In December of 1950 he joined the Airforce. During the next six years he worked for Ontario Provincial Police, Canadian National Railroad and met Pat Skulmoski. On July 27,1957 Felix entered a marriage of 61 years to Pat. They were married and lived in Fairlight, Sask., where three children soon joined their family; two sons Peter and Rod; one daughter Brenda.

While living in Fairlight, Felix began his career in construction. He was very gifted in this work. He worked on and helped create many structures big and small. These structures include the Nelson River Power Dam in Gilliam, Man., Jenpeg Dam north of Lake Winnipeg, houses, garages, furniture from two by fours and picture frames for his daughter’s art. He was most happy with a piece of wood and a saw in his hands. Due to Felix’s work, the Levesque family moved to Winnipeg in 1967, to Gilliam in 1968 and back to Winnipeg in 1972. In 2008 Felix retired and he and Pat moved to Aldersyde in 2009 where he continued working with his hands to help his son Pete.

Felix leaves his wife Patricia of 61 years; sons Peter (Kim), Rod (Lois); Daughter Brenda (Giles); five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Leo, Guy, Sally, Rose, Dolores, Janine and Juliette. Felix was predeceased by his mother and father Albert and Dora and his two brothers, Alcide and Omar.

Special thanks to Dr. Simon James, Dr. S. Finnegan and hospital staff for all their care and support.

As per Felix’s request no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Felix’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Suite 300, 55 St. Clair Ave W, Toronto, Ontario, M4V 2Y7 or www.cancer.ca
