Police say Edmonton terrorist acted alone

On Saturday, September 29, 2018, Bruce passed away with family by his side. He was born on the family farm on November 27, 1935.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Eva, brother Allan, sister Karen and great-niece Lesley Reavie.

Bruce leaves to cherish his memory his brothers: Stewart (Marie), Harvey (Linda), sister-in-law Joyce, brother-in -law John as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many good friends.

Bruce farmed with his Dad and brothers and his first crop was harvested in l95l and his last in 1998. His last combine ride was on September 11, 2018. Bruce retired to Wapella in 2000. Throughout his life many hours were spent playing or watching ball, curling or just visiting.

He loved music, dancing and a good card game. He enjoyed many summers at Round Lake, fishing and boating. Retirement was full volunteering, making cedar bird houses, cutting grass, crop checking and watching the changes on his daily drives.

Bruce was a great brother, uncle and friend. We will all miss him but our memories will live on forever.

A private Graveside Service was held on October 6, 2018 at the Wapella Cemetery. G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel was in care of arrangements.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Moosomin and District Healthcare Foundation—Palliative Care, in memory of Bruce.
