Lori Lynne Ashworth

Lori passed away October 2 at Regina Pasqua Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
Lori was born in Moosomin and grew up on the family farm north of Moosomin where she also attended school.
Upon graduation in 1976 she moved to Regina where she began working at SaskTel as a Directory Assistance Operator. She held various positions throughout her career with SaskTel until she retired in 2006. Upon retirement she returned to Moosomin where she took care of her father until his death in 2012. She continued to reside in the family home until her passing.
Lori is predeceased by her mother Edith, father Bill, and brother Brian. She leaves behind her sister Diane, nephews Dusty and Desmond, cousins and friends. She also leaves behind her cherished dog, Deja.
Lori will be remembered for her wonderful wit, keen mind (which she maintained right til the end) and her kindness she had for all she met.
Donations may be made in memory of Lori to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation.
Diane and family would like to thank doctor Tin, the nursing unit on 4D and special thanks to the nursing staff in Palliative Care, especially Maria. As well there will never be enough ways to thank Karen Howden, cousin, for being there, continuing the hope for both Lori and Diane and continued support since.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
