Allan Lane McFadyen was born on February 9, 1936 in Wapella and was surrounded by his family when he peacefully passed away on February 4, 2020 at the Regina General Hospital.

Lovingly known by all as Lane he was born in Wapella and raised on the family farm. Lane married Mavis on October 8, 1960. They returned to the farm, NE 1/4 22-14-31-W1 in the Eden Grove District in 1967.

Lane took daily trips to the farm to check for moose and feed his cows right up to the time of his passing. He also spent a large portion of his life working for various pipeline contractors across Western Canada until he finally retired at the young age of 74 years old.

He is survived by his loving wife Mavis McFadyen (Nixon) his four children Brenda (Ray) McFadyen Landry of Grande Cache, Alta. Wayne (Gina) McFadyen of Moose Jaw Sask. Lori (Jules) McFadyen of Grande Cache, Alta. and Cory (Brandi) McFadyen of Wapella, Sask. Nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His brother Larry McFadyen (Lucille) and sister Pat (Stewart) and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his father Danny, mother Aline (Wilson) and oldest brother Ian (Ticker) McFadyen.
