Lois Mary Eger passed away peacefully, on Monday February 3, 2020, with the love of family surrounding her.

Lois was born on May 31, 1939 at Moosomin, Saskatchewan. She was the daughter of Percy and Elizabeth (Bessie) Boyles.

Lois attended Teachers College in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. From there went on to teach for 10 years in Regina, Brandon, and Moosomin, before she ‘retired’ to run a business alongside Cam.

On August 7, 1965, Lois married her soul mate Cameron Eger. Through many ups and downs, their love and devotion persevered. Together they were owner/operators of three successful businesses; Twi Lite Motel (20 years), Esso Gas Station (2 years), and Three-In-One Cleaners Laundromat and Car Wash (14 years).

Lois had many pastimes including reading, sewing, knitting and crocheting. Lois made 9,000 plus dish scrubbies over the course of 15 years.

Through the winter Lois always enjoyed watching hockey. She was an avid fan of the Moosomin Rangers Senior Hockey team, and very rarely missed a home game. She had her specific seat in the stands that she always sat in, and would go early just to get that seat. Lois enjoyed the trips taken with and to visit family and friends. Her two favorite places in the world to visit were Whitehorse, Yukon, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, which she was fortunate enough to share with her sister Ruth and brother-in-law David Jamieson. Lois was a member of the O.O.R.P Lodge #214 until it disbanded. During her time as a Royal Purple Lady, she held many offices including Honoured Royal Lady for two years.

Lois is lovingly survived by her husband Cameron of 54 1/2 years; children, Charlene; Lana (Sami) Shenouda—Breanna and Jessica Linton; Bryce (Terri)—Ethan and Emma; sister, Ruth (David) Jamieson; sisters-in-law, Mickey Eger and Margaret Eger; and six nieces and four nephews and their families.

Lois was predeceased by her parents Percy and Bessie Boyles; her parents-in-law George Eger, Doris and Jack Parker, brother Gerald; sisters Doreen Rookes and Donna Lough, brothers-in-law Claude Rookes, Terry Lough, Doug Eger and Garth Eger.
