Ida Mary Webber was born on the homestead in the Pipestone Valley on September 22, 1933 to Charles and Lily Webber. Ida grew up with her three older sisters, Edna, Joan and Dorothy. Ida was the only one born in Canada. They grew up as farm girls and went to Woodlands School.

All four remained very close throughout their lives.

From an early age Ida loved to bake and had many a delicious meal in her home. You never went away hungry. She was well known for her raisin tarts and English pastries.

On February 20, 1951, she had a son Clifford Charles. They both resided at the farm home until her passing on February 26, 2020.

Clliff still lives in the home. Ida loved to garden and many a house in Moosomin was cleaned or painted by Ida, working sometimes with her sisters Edna and Joan. She also loved her shopping trips to the cities and family outings with her nieces and nephews.

In later years, as she found it harder to get around, she spent more time at home watching baseball and hockey with her son Cliff and got to know a lot about each player and the games. Cliff had very good patience with her as he would take her to town and wait on her. They enjoyed their Sunday breakfasts together at the Red Barn and he was lucky enough to celebrate his latest birthday a few days before her passing.

Ida was predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Lily Webber, her sisters and brothers-in-law Edna (Joe) Buck and Dorothy (Secord) Sheane.

She leaves to mourn her passing her loving son Cliff, sister Joan, nieces, nephews, relatives in England and many friends.
