Armel “Mel” Wolensky
April 10, 1953 – May 13, 2020

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Armel on May 13, 2020 at the age of 67 years.
He was predeceased by his father Charles, mother Helene, and brother Onile.
Left to carry on his legacy are: his companion Marilyne; Children Joel (Leanne), Jeremy (Lisa), Nadine (Trent), Melissa (Ryan), and Kevin (Kaylyn); Grandchildren: Ethan, Carter, Stella; Callie, Charlie, Oliver; Rori, Morgan; Amy, Katie, Hayden; Brae, Maddyn, and Messer; Siblings: Odette (Laurent), Soeur Gertrude, Real (Jeannette), Adeline (Royal), Lianne (Luc), and Laurel; his ex-wife Pat, as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves to mourn his extended Carriere and Paradis family.
Mel will always be remembered for his jokes and ability to make people laugh and smile, his love of sports and his hard work ethic. He loved doing yard work and being outdoors. He was most proud of his big family and always enjoyed backyard gatherings. He will be dearly missed.
The family would like to thank Dr. Dolata and the staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, Dr. Velestuk, Nurse Kelly, home care and all of the staff at the Moosomin Hospital for their care and support during his final days.
Due to the current circumstances, there will be a private family interment followed by a celebration of his life at a later date when circumstances allow.
