Christmas events planned across the region

There will be Christmas shopping events coming up across the area between now and Christmas.
Esterhazy Moonlight Magic and WinterFest Dec. 2-3
Esterhazy’s Economic Development Committee will be hosting Moonlight Magic on Friday, Dec. 2 and Winter Festival on Saturday, Dec. 3.
Moonlight Magic Friday
There will sales in participating stores from 12-9, and indoor vendor market at Anytime Fitness from 4-9 pm, an indoor kids’ obstacle course from 5-8 pm at Corssfit K20, a grad fundraiser barbecue meal at 5 pm upstairs at the legion, fireside chats from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the fire pits on Main Street, and a tree lighting ceremony at 7 pm at the historical park.
Winter Festival Saturday
The Winter Festival will include a U9 Minor Hockey Tournament at the Dana Antal Arena, indoor kids activities at the SN Boreen Hall from 11-1, a lunch sponsored by town council at the Boreen Hall from 12-3, Santa Pictures at the hall 1-3, a Turkey/Ham Draw at the Esterhazy Curling Club 1-3 pm, and a Christmas Concert with the Betts at the SN Boreen Hall 2-4 pm. There will be a Skate with Santa from 6-8 pm at the Dana Antal Arena.
Rocanville late-night shopping Dec. 7, 14
Rocanville will host two Late Night Shopping Nights Wednesday, December 7 and Wednesday, December 14.
Stores will be open until 8 pm both nights and there will be other events.
Wednesday, December 7th:
There will be a hotdog roast at the Firehall at 5:30 pm.
Santa Pictures will be at Conexus 6-7 pm (please bring a non-perishable food item as payment for your picture)
Tree Lighting will be at 7 pm with the school band performing.
Wednesday, December 14:
There will be Twinkle Tour/Hay Rides 6-7 pm and photos with the Grinch at the Rocanville Co-op Hardware Store 6-7 pm.
Kipling Parade of Lights on December 10
Kipling will host its Parade of Lights on December 10. The event will take place at 6:30 pm.
Redvers Winterfest on December 10
Redvers will host Winterfest December 10. The event will include all sorts of events, including photos with Santa, kids activities, entertainment, laser tag, a trade show, the Bubble Man, and much more.
Kin Santa Claus Parade on December 22
The Moosomin Kin Santa Parade will take place Dec. 22. Marshalling will begin at 6:30 pm and the parade will leave from the Mike Schwean arena at 7 pm.
Food donations will be collected for the Moosomin Food Share along the route.

There will be voting for best float. Davidson Truck and Tractor was last year’s winner.
