Suspect Arrested near Springside, Sask

David Frank Burling has been arrested following an extensive police chase. At approximately 1:30 p.m., Saskatchewan RCMP stopped a vehicle near Springside, SK. They arrested both occupants, David Frank Burling and an adult female, without incident.
They were in a silver vehicle and not in the green 2016 Subaru CrossTrek. Saskatchewan RCMP continues to ask members of the public to call 310-RCMP if they see the Subaru. Do not approach it.
"We thank members of the media and public for their assistance during this ongoing investigation," said Saskatchewan RCMP.
These arrests come after an extensive search that involved multiple Saskatchewan RCMP detachments and units, as well as the Manitoba RCMP, the Protection and Response Team from the Province of Saskatchewan and the CN Police.
This complex investigation involves several police/public safety agencies. Updates will be provided by the appropriate agencies as they become available. We have no further information to provide at this time.
