Man found dead on highway

A man has been found dead on a highway near Nipawin.
On Sept 13 at around 415 members of the Nipawin RCMP detachment received a call about an adult male located 2 kms east of Nipawin along Hwy 55.
When ambulance and RCMP members arrived the male was determined to be deceased at the scene.
The male was located in the driving portion of the highway.
The investigation is still underway to determine the cause and circumstances that lead to the death of the male.
A Collision reconstructionist is currently on scene and the road will remain closed for next three hours.
The deceased has been sent for a forensic autopsy in Saskatoon.
