All candidates running in the Souris-Moose Mountain constituency in the 2019 federal election have been invited to an all-candidates meeting in Moosomin Tuesday.

The meeting will be held at the Canalta meeting room at Lake Avenue and Mountain Street starting at 11:45 am. The Moosomin Chamber of Commerce is organizing the event.

Lunch will be provided.

Four of the candidates have confirmed their attendance—Conservative Robert Kitchen, People’s Party candidate Phil Zajac, Green Party candidate Judy Mergel, and Canadian Nationalist Party candidate Travis Patron.

The Chamber of Commerce has held allcandidates meetings for many federal and provincial elections to allow people in the local area the opportunity to meet the candidates running locally, and ask any questions they may have.

This election, all-candidate meetings for Souris-Moose Mountain are also being held by the Chambers of Commerce in Weyburn and Estevan.

The federal election is set for Monday, October 21.

Advance polls are set for October 11, 12, 13 and 14.
