RCMP say phone scammers hitting Moosomin numbers

Moosomin RCMP say phone scammers appear to be targeting Moosomin phone numbers as a large number of reports are coming in about a phone scam.
Moosomin RCMP had four calls Thursday morning alone regarding the same phone scam.
At some point in the conversation the caller is asking for verification of the last three digits of the social insurance number.
The caller also asks for the name and postal code.
RCMP want to remind the public to not provide personal information to anyone over the phone.
