Residents asked to not flush disinfectant wipes, baby wipes

The town of Moosomin, and many other towns in the region, are asking residents not to flush dininfectant wipes and baby wipes into the sewer system as they can clog the system.

The town of Moosomin issued the following notice:

To all residents using baby and other disinfectant wipes (Lysol, etc.), please
“DO NOT FLUSH” these items, as these wipes end up clogging the sewer system and lift station(s).

After usage, please place these items in the garbage.
