Yorkton RCMP arrest three for Break and Enter

Following investigation, Yorkton Municipal RCMP with assistance from Yorkton Provincial General Investigation Section (GIS), along with Melville and Esterhazy RCMP, have arrested and charged three adults with over 110 Criminal Code and property-related offences in total.

The charges are related to multiple break-ins and thefts that occurred in early September in communities across southeast Saskatchewan including; Yorkton, Melville, Churchbridge and others.

Stolen property in excess of $200,000 including vehicles and tools was recovered.

Jason Kevin Campbell (DOB: 1981-08-26) of Innisfail, AB is charged with 40 Criminal Code offences, including:

Five counts Possession of Stolen Property over $5000, Section 345(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Fifteen counts Possession of Stolen Property under $5000, Section 345(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Two counts Break and Enter/Theft, Section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
Seventeen counts Breach of Probation, Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
One count Driving While Prohibited, Section 259(4) of the Criminal Code
Campbell also faces one count Possession of a Controlled Substance, Section 4(1) of the CDSA.

Janelle Brianne Umpherville (DOB 1990-02-16) of Calgary, AB is charged with 37 Criminal Code offences, including:

Five counts Possession of Stolen Property over $5000, Section 345(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Fifteen counts Possession of Stolen Property under $5000, Section 345(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
One count Break and Enter/Theft, Section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
Sixteen counts Breach of Probation, Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
Umpherville also faces one count Possession of a Controlled Substance, Section 4(1) of the CDSA.

Blain Gilbert Bruce GAUDET (DOB 1984-07-17) of Yorkton, SK. is charged with 37 Criminal Code offences, including:

Five counts Possession of Stolen Property over $5000, Section 345(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Fifteen counts Possession of Stolen Property under $5000, Section 345(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
One count Break and Enter/Theft, Section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
Sixteen counts Breach of Probation, Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
The accused are also facing charges in Alberta jurisdictions. All three have made their initial court appearances and have been remanded in custody. They are all scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in Yorkton at:
