Saskatchewan RCMP is urging drivers in the Regina area to use extreme caution as rain and freezing rain are creating dangerous conditions on highways.

These conditions may exist in areas across southern Saskatchewan.

White Butte RCMP members are currently on-scene of several multi-vehicle collisions on Highway #6 south of Regina near Corinne SK.

There are no reports of serious injuries at this time, but drivers should be prepared for delays and detours and are asked to please slow down and help ensure the safety of all emergency personnel.

There are also vehicles being reported in the ditches on Highway #1 and Highway #11 due to icy conditions.

Please slow down to ensure your own safety and the safety of others, or better yet, avoid highway travel altogether if at all possible.
