Broadview/Moosomin RCMP ask public to report sightings of stolen vehicle and David Penner who is a person of interest

As part of an ongoing investigation, RCMP are working to locate 35-year-old David Penner from Winnipeg.
On August 21, 2024, Broadview RCMP was advised by Manitoba RCMP that a stolen Dodge truck was travelling toward the area.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., Moosomin RCMP located the Dodge on Highway #8 between Rocanville and Moosomin and attempted a traffic stop. It did not stop for police.
Officers continued patrolling for it. At approximately 3:30 p.m., Moosomin RCMP received a report of a Ford F-150 that was stolen from a driveway in Rocanville and began patrolling for it. At approximately 5 p.m., they located the F-150 in Moosomin and attempted a traffic stop. The F-150 did not stop for police.
They continued patrolling and later located the Dodge truck, abandoned in a rural location near Rocanville.
As part of the ongoing investigation, they are working to locate a person of interest, 35-year-old David Penner from Winnipeg. He is wanted by Carlyle RCMP for theft under $5,000 and breach of court conditions. He is also on multiple warrants from Manitoba RCMP.
Penner is described as 5’11” and 185 lbs. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
The F-150 is described as a 2022 black Supercrew model with Saskatchewan license plate 326MWX.
