On Thursday, May 2l, God welcomed Aime to his heavenly home, after reaching his 90th birthday. He will now be united with his twin Emile, and they can play tricks on everyone on the other side.

His Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, May 26 at Storthoaks St. Anthony’s Church with Rev. Kathy Kyle officiating.

He was a lifelong hard-working farmer and also worked in the oil patch for a number of years. He loved the farm life, spring with the calves frolicking in the pasture and the crops growing in the fields. He even picked stones at age 86. He was generous and kind and was a very devoted family man.

He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Doreen; Four children: Michael (Sarina), Breanna (Brad), Linden and Layla, Chelsea (Ryan) Ember and Everett, Brayden, John (Lisa), Jena (Ryan) Brielle, Shea, and Banks, Amanda (Blake), Jack, Brynn, and Jayla, Cody, Robert (Annette), Dustin (Haley), Paisley, Marissa (Sean), Hunter, Tommy and Kayce, Ashley (James), Brooks and Lainey, Juanita (Duane), Branden (Shayla), Nicholas) (Shae), Kaylee (Brayden). Also two brothers, Ray (Lillian), Kelly (Nancy) and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents, Carman and Yvonne and his in-laws, John and Gertie Bateman, and brother-in-law, David.

The eulogy was given by Amanda and Kaylee, scripture by Jena, and “A Farmer” poem by Kelly.

Six grandchildren carried him to his final resting place in the Fertile cemetery beside Emile.

Rest in Peace.
