Paisiblement, entourée de sa famille, Madame Céline Bauche est décédée le 3 octobre, 2021 à l’Hôpital Ste-Anne à Ste-Anne, Manitoba à l’âge de 93 ans. La plus jeune fille de Léonidas Martin, veuf avec 9 enfants parti de Chartierville, QC pour l’ouest, et d’Aurore Gougeon qui eurent 4 autres enfants, elle est née à la maison près de Storthoaks, Saskatchewan le 21 décembre 1927. Jeune aide en soins de santé, elle épouse, le 18 octobre 1955, André Bauche à Redvers, Saskatchewan. Héritant de la ferme paternelle Bauche, ils y élèvent leur famille. Veuve après 64 ans de mariage, elle laisse dans le deuil son fils Bernard (Nancy) et leurs enfants Chantal (Randy Scott), Matthieu (Kari), Mila (Jordan Miller) et Thomas (Charisse Garnier), sa fille Monique (Paul de Moissac) et leurs enfants Pierre (Kheira Jolin), Nathalie, Serge, Sylvie (Laurent Lévesque) et Jacques (Katrina Leclerc), et sa fille Hélène (Brent Clarke) et leurs enfants David, Celeste (Kurtis Seaborg), Nicole (Andrew Collings) et Michel. En plus elle laisse 9 arrière-petits-enfants: Burklee, Memfis et Timber Miller, Arianne, Leah et Isabelle de Moissac, et Konrad, Lincoln et Roman Seaborg.
André et Céline ont ``fait la ferme`` tout près d’Antler pour près de 60 ans. La ferme était toujours un endroit occupé et Céline accueillait les visiteurs pour un repas ou un café. Tous appréciaient son pain frais ou ses pâtisseries. Paroissienne de St-Maurice à Bellegarde elle s’est impliquée comme Dame de Sainte-Anne, dans la Ligue des Femmes Catholiques et comme bénévole pour beaucoup d’activités dans la communauté. Elle travailla aussi au foyer à Redvers pour près de 10 ans, prodiguant des soins aux ainés de la communauté.
Avant tout, Céline aimait sa famille et était très fière de ses 13 petits-enfants. Grand-maman les accueillait et valorisait tous avec une grosse caresse et son attention. Tous ceux qui l’ont connue se souviendront d’elle comme une personne humble, chaleureuse, positive et généreuse.
Les funérailles de Madame Céline Bauche auront lieu à Bellegarde, Saskatchewan, le 23 octobre, 2021 à 10h30 suivi de l’inhumation au cimetière paroissial. Les gens qui le désirent peuvent faire un don en sa mémoire à la Villa Youville, à Ste-Anne MB. La famille tient aussi à remercier le personnel de la Villa Youville et de l’Hôpital Ste-Anne pour les bons soins prodigués à notre maman et grand-maman durant sa maladie.

Mrs. Céline Bauche passed away peacefully with family at her side on October 3, 2021 at the Ste-Anne Hospital in Ste-Anne, Man. The youngest daughter in a family of 13 children, she was born on December 21, 1927 to Léonidas and Aurore Martin in the family home near Storthoaks, Sask. She attended Bolton School and finished high school at St. Joseph’s Academy in Forget, Sask. Céline later started her nursing program in Regina but had to return home to care for her sick father. Barely in her mid-20’s, with both her parents gone, she found employment at the Redvers Hospital as a nurse’s aide. In May 1955, she met a handsome young farmer, André Bauche, and they were married in Redvers on October 18, 1955. They were married for 64 years, until André passed away on May 22, 2020. Céline is survived by their son Bernard (Nancy) and their children Chantal (Randy Scott), Matthieu (Kari), Mila (Jordan Miller) and Thomas (Charisse Garnier); daughter Monique (Paul de Moissac) and their children Pierre (Kheira Jolin), Nathalie, Serge, Sylvie (Laurent Levesque) and Jacques (Katrina Leclerc); daughter Hélène (Brent Clarke) and their children David, Celeste (Kurtis Seaborg), Nicole (Andrew Collings), and Michael; and nine great-grandchildren Burklee, Memfis and Timber Miller; Arianne, Leah and Isabelle de Moissac; and Konrad, Lincoln and Roman Seaborg.
André and Céline farmed near Antler for almost sixty years. The farmyard was a busy place, and Céline always welcomed visitors for a cup of coffee, along with some of her well-known bread, buns or cinnamon rolls. She never hesitated to bring meals out to the field so that the “men’s” work went uninterrupted. Céline spent her summers working in her numerous large gardens, where she and her girls picked fresh vegetables and fruit daily, making preserves that stocked her shelves and freezers. She was involved in the community, belonged to Les Dames de St. Anne and the CWL, and catered for funerals, weddings, sports days and rink events in Bellegarde. For almost 10 years, Céline also worked at the Redvers Centennial Nursing Home, caring tenderly to the seniors of the community.
Above all, Céline loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Her big warm hug made each feel that they belonged and were important in her life. She will be remembered by the many people whose lives she touched for being a humble, caring, positive and generous soul.
The funeral and burial will take place in Bellegarde, Saskatchewan at 10:30 on October 23, 2021. Donations may be made to the Villa Youville nursing home in Ste-Anne, Man. The family is very thankful to the staff at the Villa Youville and the Ste-Anne Hospital for the wonderful care and support provided to Céline.
