Karen Ireland found deceased

Karen Ireland was found deceased Wednesday afternoon, after leaving the Southeast Integrated Care Centre Wednesday morning.
On November 23, 2022 at approximately 7:45 a.m., Moosomin RCMP received a report that Ireland, 50, was missing.
Police reported Wednesday morning that Ireland was last seen on Wright Road in Moosomin at approximately 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, wearing a blue hospital gown and green pajama pants, and not wearing shoes.
"Karen Ireland has been located deceased. Her next of kin have been notified and our thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time," RCMP said late Wednesday afternoon.
"The Saskatchewan RCMP is investigating in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service and preliminary indication is that no foul play is suspected in relation to Karen’s death."
"Thank you to the media and the public for their assistance," the RCMP concluded.
Karen's sister, Ruth Ireland Desjarlais, said she was upset. "How does a woman with a 30 year history of mental illness, walk out of the facility that is supposedly caring for her, with no shoes and no coat, at the end of November? When does that stop?" said Ireland Desjarlais.
