Broadview RCMP investigating serious assault

On November 22, 2023 at approximately 10:15 p.m., Broadview RCMP received a report of a serious assault that occurred in Grenfell, Saskatchewan.
Officers immediately responded. Investigation determined there was an altercation between a group of individuals. An adult male was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious.
As a result of investigation, a male and a female were arrested at a residence on Cowessess First Nation on November 23.
30-year-old Kyle Wood from Regina has been charged with:
• one count, attempted murder, Section 239(b), Criminal Code.
25-year-old Tracey McNabb from Regina has been charged with:
• one count, aggravated assault, Section 268, Criminal Code; and
• one count, uttering threats, Section 264.1(1)(a), Criminal Code.

Broadview RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s General Investigation Section, Forensic Identification Services, Moosomin, Fort Qu’Appelle, Indian Head, and Esterhazy detachments, and File Hills Police Service.
