It is with great sadness that the family of Sheila Kelly (Easton), a caring wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 7, 2022 at the age of 75.
Predeceased by her parents, Roy and Sally Easton, she is survived by her husband, D’Arcy, her three sons, Glenn, Wayne, and Jason, along with their families, sister Randi, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Sheila was born on August 7, 1947 in Moosomin, Sask.
Sheila and D’Arcy enjoyed 57 years of marriage.
During these years, Sheila helped with the family painting business.
Sheila was a loyal member of the Royal Canadian Legion. She was proudly known to serve as the first female President of Moosomin Legion.
She loved her yorkies and her hobbies, which included cooking, knitting, her award-winning bread-making and travel.
Her destinations included Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Nova Scotia.
Sheila was adventurous and enjoyed ziplining, parasailing, as well as taking in the sun and oceans.
Her family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Southeast Integrated Care Centre for the care given.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moosomin and District Health Care Foundation for SEICC, Box 1470 Moosomin, SK S0G 3N0 in memory of Sheila.
