It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elmer Leo Flaman who passed away peacefully on December 27, 2022 at the South East Integrated LTC centre in Moosomin Saskatchewan at the age of 87.
Elmer was born in Southey on October, 17 1935 to his parents, Fred and Julie.

He was raised on their family farm and in 1942 moved with his family to the Fairmede District where he attended school.

In 1958 he chose to follow in his father’s footsteps and purchased land south of Moosomin to become a farmer.

In November of 1962 he married Patricia Schmidt. Together they raised four children.

Throughout the years Elmer not only farmed, but he also tried his luck with many sideline businesses, from vacuum sales, to dabbling in Amway sales, however he found his true passion selling Watkins products.
Elmer sold the farm in 2004 and moved into Moosomin. He continued travelling and selling Watkins.

He continued selling Watkins until his health began deteriorating and chose to retire after a 30 year career.
