Kenneth William Eckersley of Rocanville Saskatchewan, age 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side on June 22, 2023.
Ken was born on May 26, 1936, to Robert and Elsie (Cundy) Eckersley. Ken grew up on the family farm in the Carnoustie district and lived most all his life in the Rocanville/Spy Hill area.

He will be dearly missed by his daughter Jacqui Harrison and son-in-law John, his son Rob and wife Sarah, plus his grandchildren, Adam, Chris, Emily, Sydney, and Reid, as well as his sister Carol Begg, and his many extended family members and friends.
Ken enjoyed his time working on the railroad throughout B.C. as a young man but loved farming and his work at both the Esterhazy and Rocanville Potash mines.
Ken was an avid sportsman relishing big game hunting of deer, moose, elk, and antelope. He enjoyed fishing also, but his passion was goose hunting with all his bird hunting pals, especially Don Ikert and son Mark.
He felt great joy watching his children and grandchildren in all their activities, especially hockey, baseball, softball and gymnastics and any kind of musical event. Ken loved country music and travelled to county music festivals around the country with his good friends.
Ken loved his local community, his family, his friends, and the good people in the Rocanville area.
Ken will be sorely missed.
