
Mary Mae (Fischer) Wushke, 95, of Moosomin, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024.
Born on May 1, 1929, she lived a life filled with love, devotion and kindness.
Mary Mae, who cherished family above all else, was the beloved wife of the late Albert Wushke (2004), and dear mother of Mark (Pamela) and Geoff (Lorie-Anne).
She was a proud grandmother to Matthew (Stephanie), Emily (Christian), Brooke (Brett), Stacey (Taylor) and Jayden (Julia) and dear great-grandmother to Ayla, Carson, Riley, Jennings, Charlotte, and Brynlie.
Mary Mae was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Mary (Weiberg) Fischer, and her siblings Thelma (Charlie), Rita, Leona (Clarence), and Trueman, and her great-granddaughter Maelyn, as well as many other close relatives.
In addition to her immediate family, Mary Mae is survived by her in-laws Edwin (Audrey), Gertie, Bruno, Arthur (Dianne), Rita (Terry), Hertha, Armin (Camille), Nora and Darby.
While Mary Mae will be deeply missed, her memory will remain a lasting source of strength and inspiration.
A celebration of Mary Mae’s life was held on Friday, November 22, at 1:30 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wapella with Pastor Vivian Roberts officiating.
