Garrett Dlouhy of Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, passed away on December 14, 2024, at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 38 years old.
Garrett grew up in Esterhazy and Regina, Saskatchewan. In 2011, Garrett completed his journeyman welder’s certification and became a welder at Mosaic.
In his free time, Garrett enjoyed making music, spending quality time with his son, fishing with friends and family, and tinkering with his cars.
Garrett’s kind heart and generosity was felt by all that knew him and you could be sure that laughter would ensue whenever Garrett was around.
Garrett was predeceased by his grandfather Lawrence Dlouhy and grandmother Donna Kingston. He is survived by his wife Melissa, his son Jackson, his parents Lindsay (Lisa) Dlouhy of Esterhazy and Kelly (Dominico) Marchigiano of Regina, his siblings Amie Dlouhy (John Belliveau), Karlene (Rick) Panko and Scott Dlouhy and grandparents Alan (Karen) Kingston and Leona Dlouhy.
Garrett’s final wish was to leave a legacy of selflessness through the gift of organ donation. He gave the ultimate gift of hope and life to others.
Garrett will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour and musical talents. Forever in our hearts and gone too soon.
