
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Rose Marie Hooper, late of Regina, Sask. on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the age of 81 years.
Rose was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Dorothy Windrim.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Debera Silvius and Laurie (Keith) Kirschman; her son, Michael Mitchell; her sister, Elva (late Ken) Wolfe; her grandchildren, Mitchell Silvius, Dereck Silvius (Jessika) Wingrove, Vanda (Tyler) Welfing, Carlin (Amanda) Kirchman, and Morgan (Kaity) Kirschman; as well as her great-grandchildren, Kayld, Trinity, Oaklyn, Grayson, and Brandt, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Rose was cherished for her unwavering love of family.
She found joy in gardening, crafting, and volunteering her time. If she wasn’t at home, you could often find her at Wascana Lake, barbecuing, enjoying the events, or simply riding her scooter around the lake.
Funeral Service will be held at a later date with interment to follow.
Donations may be made, in Rose’s memory, to one of her favourite charities, The Saskatchewan Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Sick Children’s Hospital, or the Faith Baptist Church Regina.
