It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our brother, Larry Crump, on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the age of 73 years.
Larry was born to the late Bill and Albina Crump at Moosomin Hospital on September 5, 1951.
He was raised at Welwyn and attended school at both Welwyn and Rocanville.
Throughout Larry’s working days, he worked primarily as a truck driver with Moosomin Ready Mix and Moosomin Federated Co-op. He also worked jobs at the UGG Elevator, bartending, and landscaping in Winnipeg. Larry also enjoyed his seasonal farming jobs.
Larry enjoyed curling and snowmobiling in his younger years, as well as fishing and hunting. You could often find Larry under the hood, tinkering with his old trucks. Larry had a gift for woodworking and crafted many projects, some very tedious and time consuming. Larry enjoyed playing cards and other games with family and friends, which began at a very early age and continued all through the years.
Larry will be missed by his sisters Joanne Taylor (Larry) and Cheryl Taylor (Dennis), nieces and nephews Kent, Kerri, Devon, Tammy, Curtis, and their families, as well as many cousins and friends.
Thank you to everyone who attended his celebration of life and to all who sent cards, flowers, food, and all of the support shown over the course of Larry’s illness and his passing.
Larry will be laid to rest in a private family burial at Welwyn Cemetery.
