
Beverly Faye Davidson (Quayle) passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Sunday April 20, 2025 surrounded by family.
Bev was born April 9, 1963 in Moosomin, SK to Tom and Fay Quayle. After graduating from McNaughton High School in 1981, she attended SIAST and received a Diploma in Dental Nursing. Bev worked as a dental nurse for a short time in Melville, Saskatchewan. She then attended the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1989 and a Bachelor of Education degree in 1992. She settled back in Moosomin and married Chris Davidson in 1992. Bev spent her working career as a teacher at Moosomin and Wapella schools. Bev completed her RYT-500 (500 hour registered yoga teacher training) and taught yoga classes in Moosomin and online for many years and developed a large and loyal following.
Mom loved yoga, travelling, spending time outside, the sun, hot black coffee, dogs, and horses. Most of all, she loved her family. Her pride and joy were her daughters, Carly born October 10, 1995 and Megan born October 7, 1997.
Bev was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Fay Quayle, and infant brother Norman Quayle.
She will be missed by her daughters Carly (Devin) McCarthy and Megan Davidson; grandchildren Mya and Mason McCarthy; former husband Chris Davidson; sister Shannon Windrim; brother Bruce Quayle; nieces and nephews Neil (Jaime) Windrim, Corinne (Trevor) Pankewich, and Iain Quayle; and many friends and extended family.
A funeral service for Bev will be held from Carscadden Funeral Chapel in Moosomin on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 2 pm with Sheilagh Garrett officiating. A private family interment will be held in Moosomin South Cemetery, followed by the reception at the Moosomin Legion Hall. The lunch will be catered by the Legion.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Moosomin & District Healthcare Foundation for CT Scanner Fund, or to PADS Dogs, 9048 Stormont Ave., Burnaby B.C., V3N 4G6 in memory of Bev.
