
Frank Paul passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Frank was born January 1, 1936 on a farm near Cupar, Sask. to the late Steve and Katie (Nagy) Paul. He was the oldest of four children, Sylvia (Lloyd) Stan of Regina, Elsie (Jerry) Flaman of Regina and Loretta (Bill) Molnar of Lestock.
He completed grade 6 at Cupar school, then stayed at home full time to help on the farm with livestock and grain farming. On October 27, 1962 he married Marilyn Nichol at Vibank. They raised two girls on their farm near Moosomin, Saskatchewan.
He had successful careers of farming and installing floor covering.
Throughout his life, he was active with the Knights of Columbus at church.
Frank had many interests and hobbies like attending as many old-time dances and auctions sales as possible, creating many woodworking projects—including urns—going to town for coffee, travelling through much of Canada and the U.S. and finding natural hot springs to soak in. Later in life, he discovered the love of collecting antiques, building up a remarkable collection over the years.
Frank is survived by his two daughters, Pam (the late Cam) Hutchinson and Melanie (Bill) Driedger. He leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 3 sisters, many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was a loyal and faithful husband, father, grandparent, brother and uncle.
Frank’s funeral will be held on Saturday, May 24 at 11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Moosomin, Saskatchewan. His ashes will be buried at Moosomin North Cemetery following the service. Donations can be made in Frank’s name to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Moosomin.
