It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Vern Windrim announce his passing on November 24th at the age of 62 years.

Vern was born in Regina on November 24, 1963 and was raised in Moosomin, Saskatchewan by Doug and Anne Windrim until he moved to Saskatoon to start a family with Cheryl and work as a autobody technician at Dodge City and later with SGI Insurance.

He loved, adored and was so proud of his two daughters accomplishments and achievements. Many memories were made travelling as a family to different areas of the world as well as camping and spending time at the family cabin. Many hours were also spent golfing with his wife, family and friends. Vern was a passionate outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting with friends and his black labs, they were truly part of the family. He was the best grandpa to Brooks and was so proud of this title. Vern was a caring husband, proud father and grandpa that will be forever missed.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl along with his daughters, Kristen (Torey) Stott and Caitlin (Dale) Windrim; grandchild, Brooks Vern Stott; father Doug Windrim; sister Sandy (Leonard) Diamond; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Vern was predeceased by his mother, Anne Windrim; and father and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Corinne Crawford.
