Eleanora neé Voelpel Wushke

Nora was born and raised in the Wapella District, the daughter of Carl and Mary Voelpel. She died peacefully at the Moosomin Integrated Care Centre on Friday, November 28. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 71 years, Willie, and her sisters Alma and Anna. She is survived by her children, Ralph (David), Allan (Suzanne), Tim (Andria) and Lois, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Nora will be remembered for her cheerful spirit, creative energy, hard work, kindness and generosity as a farm wife and homemaker. She was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Wapella.
Her funeral will be held at 2 pm, Monday, December 15 at St. John’s Lutheran Church (in town), Wapella, Saskatchewan.
Interment to follow immediately at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Moosomin, Saskatchewan.
A reception will follow at Moosomin Armoury, 811 Birtle Street, Moosomin, Saskatchewan.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of the South East Integrated Care Centre for their attentive care.
