Lillian Klinger passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the age of 85 at the Southeast Integrated Care Centre, Moosomin, Sask.
Lillian was born on March 24, 1940 in Rocanville, Sask. to Morgan and Minnie Chase. She was the eldest of three children— Lillian, Joyce (Nixon) and George Chase.
Lillian married Albert Klinger on August 15, 1959 and lived in the Kendalton District until they retired to Moosomin in 2001.
They raised five children: Karen (Les), Kris, Kara, Jonathon; Gloria (Doug), Sarah, Megan; Donald (Margo), Brooke, Jenna; Kenneth (Leann); Kevin (Marcy), Morgan, Julia.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband Albert of 62 years on Feb. 12, 2022 and her son Kenneth on July 13, 2024.
Lillian loved her life on the farm, where she raised her five children with steady hands and a generous heart. The farm was more than home—it was where her family grew, lessons were learned, and countless memories were made.
Lillian enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, baking, volunteering, and missed the days of going dancing with Albert.
The family is deeply grateful to the staff at Cobblestone House for the compassionate care they provided to Lillian over the last two and a half years.
Lillian will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her.
Donations in Lillian’s memory may be made to Moosomin & District Healthcare Foundation for CT Scanner Fund.
