It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Noëlla Huberdeau (née Perreault). Noëlla passed away in her home surrounded by her daughters on May 15, 2014.

Noëlla was born December 21, 1924 in Ste. Marthe, Sask. She was the fifth child of nine born to Edmond and Marguerite (née Gagnon) Perreault.

Noëlla was predeceased by her father Edmond on December 2, 1942; her mother Marguerite on October 7, 1972; her husband Leonard on October 26, 1994; her son Edmond onJune 19, 1984; her daughters Denise Fossheim on May 26, 2004 and Aurore Martin on August 19, 2013; her sons-in-law Wayne Haney on November 25, 2001 and Ken Jeffers on October 14, 2009; her infant grandson James Edmundson on May 23, 1979 and her infant great-granddaughter Brittany Bates on May 6, 1993.

She is survived by nine children: Emile (Elaine), Marguerite Jeffers, Anita (Gilles) Chartier, Thérèse Haney, Ovide (Karen), Gracia (Greg) Genik, Luc (Liane), Alma (Andrew) Robson, and Edgar (Tracy). She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Juliette (Rosario) Huberdeau; sons-in-law Daniel Martin and Edwin Fossheim; 35 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren; her brothers Edmond, Joseph and André and her sister Soeur Yvette Perreault.

Mom will be remembered for her kindness, faith, compassion, sense of humor and her joie de vivre. She will be missed.

The family would like to thank the home care staff, Dr. Pieterse and the medical staff, the Parish priest, Father/l’abbé René Katcha Digba and Deacon Conrad Plante. We would also like to thank our neighbors, friends and family for their expressions of condolences.
