
Keith was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on September 12, 1932 to Walter and Gertrude Barnes.
On July 31, 1953, he married Margaret Wilson. Together they raised four children, while Keith spent his life trucking. His favorite hobby was feeding the birds.
Keith was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Vernon.
He is survived by his wife of 61-and-a-half years Margaret; children and grandchildren Walter (Nola) and their children Keith, Paedrig, Pearl and Sinnead; Gordon (Betty) and their children Jasmin and Krystal; Robert; Barbara (Raymond) and their children Sarah and Matthew; his only sister Marion Norwig; and also his nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the Esterhazy Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Moss officiating. Pallbearers were Delvin Szumutku, Jim Bali, Ernest Kirchman, Leonard Knourek, Jean Chretien, and Earl Nickell. Honorary pallbearers were all those in attendance. The organist was Cathy Toth. Interment was in the Esterhazy town cemetery. May he rest in peace. . .
