
Inger passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 19, 2015 at the Southeast Integrated Care Centre, Long Term Care in Moosomin.
Inger was born in Kroghave, Denmark on November 22, 1921. She, along with the rest of her family, emigrated from Denmark to Canada in April 1930, settling on their farm in the Parkman area later that same year.
On December 21, 1942 she married Lester Duncan Wilson and they settled on their own farm in the Parkman area, raised a family of four children, and were active in their community. She and Lester retired from farming and moved to Wawota in January 1974.
Inger was predeceased by Lester in 1975 and her eldest son Bryan in 2015.
She is survived by her daughters Audrey (Frank) Gray; Carol (Don) Christopher; daughter-in-law Jackie Wilson; son David (Shirley) Wilson; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A private funeral to celebrate Inger’s life will be held at a later date.
