
Helen Isabel Watson passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 21 at the age of 88 with her family by her side. She was born on September 19, 1927, the only child of Lloyd and Ida Coburn. She married her high school sweetheart Bert Watson in 1949 and together they raised three children on the family farm near Rocanville: Ken (Linda), Wayne (Penny) and Judy (Glen Smart).
She was a talented pianist and organist, performing at many dances and events over the years, and at the Moosomin nursing home to entertain residents. She and Bert loved camping, fishing, visiting with friends and spending time with their family.
Helen was predeceased by her parents; her stepfather Al Townsend; her father-in-law Herb and mother-in-law Ferne; sister-in-law Ruth; brother-in-law Mayo; and her husband Bert.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children and their spouses, along with her seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren: Cari, Matt and Parker Donaldson; Crista (Jason), Jenna and Emerson Carter; Erin, Makenna and Joseph Davis; Kelly (Kendra), Adelyn and Emery Smart, Tanis (Chris), Tiana and Brady Low; Dara Watson; Blair (Trina), Nicholas, Nathan and Nolan.
