
It is with great sadness that the family of Freda Armengaud announces her passing on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the age of 88 years in Ottawa’s Montfort Hospital.
Freda was born in Rocanville, Saskatchewan to Jack and Alice Rushton. She worked as a civil servant in Ottawa for many years and once retired, Freda penned a book titled “At Present, We are Living on a Farm”, dedicated to her family back home. Her last few years were spent in the caring community at Moments Manor.
Freda will be lovingly remembered by her children, Nancy and Gerry (Melanie). Freda will also be fondly remembered by her brother Ben. Freda was predeceased by her husband Yvan, daughter Pamela, sisters Betty and Jean, brothers Bill and John.
In keeping with the wishes of Freda, no service will be held.
Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Freda to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
