
Marilyn Anna (Broughton) Johnston age 72, of Langbank,. passed away on November 22nd, 2016 at Whitewood, Sask. after a short battle with cancer.
She was born in Walpole, Sask. to Anna (Russell) and Stanley Broughton.
Marilyn enjoyed gardening, handiwork, walking, music, and volunteer work. She had a love for God, family, and friends.
Marilyn was predeceased by her parents and infant son, Ervine.
She is survived by her husband Ervine, children Craig, Karl (Mashal Burke), Cheryl (Kelly Davis), Tracy (Scott Unger), and Esther (Greg Vennard), nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, siblings Joyce (George) Orr, Russell (Susan) Broughton, Wayne (Sharon) Broughton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. in Parkland Bible Church, Kipling with Pastor Lincoln Vellacott officiating.
Interment took place in the Village of Kennedy Cemetery. Following the interment service a reception for family and friends was held in the Langbank Community Center.
The family would like to thank the staff at Moosomin Hospital and Whitewood Community Health Centre for their exceptional care of Marilyn during this difficult time.
