
Joe was born on April 2, 1945 in Moosomin, Saskatchewan and passed away May 12, 2018 at Parkridge Center in Saskatoon.
Joe was born to Louie and Alvina Ikert of Moosomin.
He is survived by his son Brent (Carrie), granddaughter Drew and grandson Davin of Prince Albert, and Brent’s mother Gwen Graham of Saskatoon. His sisters Vicki (Ernie) Briggs, Marlene (Robert) Ziegler, Irene (Michael Cawood), Dolly (Jim) Greenbank and Faith (Brad) Campbell. His brother Lenny (Mona) Ikert. Sisters-in-law Gayle Ikert of Calgary and Ruth Stroeder of Regina. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Louie and Alvina Ikert, brothers George and John Ikert, and nephew Jason Csada.
Joe had experienced a serious car accident in 1969 and as a result resided in a nursing home until the time of his passing.
A private family grave side memorial will be held at a later date.
