It is with heavy hearts that we announce Valorie Geotz passed away in her home on April 12, 2019 in Moosomin, Sask. She joins her beloved daughter (Bobby-Jo) and her parents (Alfred and Emma) in eternal life.
Val was a selfless woman who gave her heart in everything she did. Her life revolved around family, friends and maintaining traditions. She was everyone’s rock, selflessly supporting others to reorganize their lives and become their better selves.
She is survived by her husband Jerry Geotz, her daughters Christine Stocks and Jerri-Lee (Brian) Easton, and five grandchildren Robyn (Sam) Conlin, Jordan Norman, Addya, Vanessa, and Tavin Easton. Also, her sister Pat (Kenton) Jenzen, and her brother Bruno (Gladys) Zerbin. Her boys (Dachshunds) Maverick and Bandit.
Valorie was born in Wynyard, Sask. and was raised in farming communities. She went to college in Brandon and became a bookkeeper. She enjoyed everything about the prairies and community life. She was always competitive (mostly with herself), creative, loved to find a good deal, read, travel, all things music, and bringing family together as often as possible.
