Blue eyes closed in restful sleep.
Fiddlers’ hands at rest.
God took our welder from us.
To prove he only takes the best.
Len Downer passed away at his home in Maryfield on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the age of 86.
He will be sadly missed by Evelyn, his wife of 64 years. Together they raised a family of five Jeff (Marlene) Downer, Laura (Ed) Magotiaux, Kim Walton, Troy Downer and Lee (Krista) Downer.
Eleven grandchildren Jody, Jackie (Dustin), Tanya (Ryan), Terri (Rodger), Bambi (Joel), Ty (Nikki), Jesse (Simone), Cody, Loagen, Stevie (Joel), Brynn.
Also known as “The Greats” by 14 great-grand children Mary, Walter, Lennox, Leilani, Henry, Eddie, Jade, Aspen, Taje, Mathieu, Layne, Nixon, Jayden, Scarlett Rose.
Len also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews; his musician family and friends; his pipeline and welding family and friends. (And four legged friends Tina and Nipper.)
He will be sadly missed by all.
