For a second year in a row, Redvers is rallying for Kraft Hockeyville. The contest runs Canada-wide with a grand prize of $250,000, a runner up prize of $100,000, and 11 provincial winners of $50,000 for arena upgrades.

The Redvers and District Recreation Centre provides the community and surrounding area with facilities for sports, leisure and recreation. However, maintenance costs continue to mount and support from Kraft Hockeyville would be both significant and very appreciated.

The Rec Centre is in need of a new roof. Rubber matting and a proper dehumidifier are also on the list of items needed for the facility to function properly.

The Redvers Rockets have 112 players registered for the 2025-2026 hockey season that play with three U7 teams, 2 U9 teams, and one of each U11, U13, U15 and U18. Redvers is also home to the Senior Redvers Rockets, an active women’s hockey team, The Rockette’s, recreation hockey and 38 members of the Redvers Skating Club.
