Online auction, Go Fund Me set up for Erin Skulmoski
Online auction starts today

An online auction starts today and a Go Fund Me has also been set up to raise funds for Moosmin’s Erin Skulmoski and her family.
On August 26, Erin and her family received news that Erin had a brain tumor.
Just before her scheduled surgery, a second tumor was also found.
On September 8, Erin underwent brain surgery where the main tumor was partially removed. The second tumor was inoperable due to its close proximity to the motor cortex, where the risk of paralysis was too high.
During her recovery, biopsy results confirmed that the tumors are glioblastoma wild type, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Since then, Erin has faced difficulty understanding or forming language, motor control difficulties and seizures.
Erin has started daily chemotherapy and radiation treatments at the Allen Blair Cancer Centre in Regina, which will continue for six weeks. Because of the aggressive nature of her diagnosis, out-of-country medical treatment options are also being explored.
Funds raised through the auction and the Go Fund Me will go toward medical expenses, travel costs, and support for the family.
Erin and her husband Quinn run Skulmoski Plumbing and Heating. Erin also works full-time at MacLeod Elementary School. Erin and Quinn are the parents to Drayson (Hannah) and Kayden (Ceili), both of whom live in Moosomin.
The online auction runs from November 10-14 at 12 pm.
